Send copy of email to another address using cPanel
My wife and I share an Amazon account using the email address from one of my domains. She also takes care of the checkbook so she needs to know when I order something so she can make the entry in the register. She would also like to get an order conformation when she orders something or knows when it has shipped. If I use a filter in Thunderbird to forward her the Amazon email this works as long as I have my computer on but if I am out of town I use my netbook and don’t check that email account so she wouldn’t get the email until I got back.
Solution:
I created a User Filter in cpanel for the account that is used for Amazon. The top half is normal If From contains @amazon
Now to get this to work in cpanel you have to redirect the email to
wife@gmail.com
me@mydomain.com

This will send us both a copy of the email with mine going to the original email account.
