I have been looking at WordPress  for a long time but have never installed it. Did install Joombla at one point but in the end I didn’t care for it as I didn’t have the same control that I did when writing in html. You see I don’t use a wysiwyg editor I prefer to do my own coding so that it is cleaner and easier for me to read.

Recently I started programing in HTML5 which has some nice new features. I also do sites for several organizations that I belong to and it’s getting to the point where it needs to be easy for someone besides me to be able to post something on the site. So that brings me to WordPress.

So this is an my attempt to teach myself WordPress so I will be reading tutorials and then applying what I learn.

I also will just be rambling about???
