When I built the Yokomo YD-2 I followed the instructions from the manual. The setup in the manual is for asphalt and I run on carpet and Harbor Freight Fatigue mats. It drifted okay but I wouldn’t say that it drifted great. Also being new to drifting in general and to RWD drifting I just left it that way to get use to the YD-2 and RWD drifting. I originally was learning on a HPI Sprint 2 AWD. I found a setup sheet on Yokomo’s web site for carpet and decided to give it a try. I used most of the setup but not all of it. For instance their setup has 0 degree tow in the rear and I still have the stock 3 degrees until I get some different blocks. I’ve had this setup for a couple of days now and been practicing on my basement track haven’t had a chance to try it at Prolevel RC’s drift track yet.
