Franklin County Veterans Appreciation Night
It’s been a long winter, haven’t been doing much since the Toy for Tots push back in December. Mostly hanging around. Did spend some time in the garage where I got a new (like in different) transmission, my old one was a little noisy in 1st gear.
I also made a trip to Washington so that Roy ‘The Paint Nazi’ could touch up my paint in a few spots. There were also some spots that he felt needed buffing so now I really shine.
March 16th was the 2nd Annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner in Union. This was the second year for the event and I was invited as one of the Honored Guest.
In many cases I have to stay out in the parking lot while these things are going on, not because they don’t want me inside but there is no way to get me inside. Not the case here, I got to go sit inside and hear the guest speakers & also hear

I like going to veteran’s events to show my support. These are the ones that really get it and know 1st hand what it means to sign that contract to defend this great nation. Still the people I really need to talk to are the ones that don’t understand the sacrifices our veterans make to keep this country FREE and have been doing it since 1776.
I wish to thank each and every veteran, past & present for their service to our country the Good Ole USA.
