Bronze Plaques From World War I
Bronze Plaques From World War I.
Do you recognize this plaque? If you’re under the age of 50, probably, but more of the seasoned citizens may. Up until the 1960s, these bronze name plates lined a section of Grand Avenue, then one by one, they were removed.
Skip Burger tells us the story behind the bronze plaques and where they’re going.
The bronze plaque on the left is the same plague that was being talked about this morning on KTVI this morning. If you would want to help with the project you can donate right from their web site.
