I ordered a Black Friday SE Meteor65 with 19500kv motors and it arrived today. Guess you could call it the Johnny Cash Edition as it’s all black. Came with 2 300mah BT2.0 1s batteries, a USB charger that also doubles as a BT2.0 1s battery checker, extra set of props and a nice little carrying case. Put the batteries on the iCharger x6 while I was binding and checking the modes and switches in Betaflight. After the batteries were charged I did a checkout flight where I checked the trim, had to calibrate the Accelerometer, did this using stick commands as it was easy with battery raised up the Meteor65 sits flat on the ground. Hovered around and did some LOS. I wasn’t happy with the way it was flying, I don’t have a lot of room, so I changed the rates to the ones I use on most of the whoops that I fly inside. After doing this I put the goggles on and proceeded to take it up for it’s 1st real flight.
I have seen other videos where the Metero65 had the 22000kv motors and it was a rocket and I thought that would to to much motor for my small space hence I ordered the 19500kv motors I’m glad it did. I was actually very happy with the way it flew, handles a little different that my US65 or the Tinyhawk S but that can be expected, pretty much like no 2 cars drive exactly the same. My wife and I both have Ford Freestyles and they don’t drive the same. I was bale to fly through my gates and I have setup around my basement. I think as I get more stick time on it things will be better.
This is the video off the goggles which doesn’t have the greatest DVR so the video in the goggles was much better but really nothing to write home about.
